Maze Recruitment Group are working with a client school in Wakefield who are looking to recruit an excellent HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant).
Our Wakefield based client school is looking for a HLTA to work with KS1 & KS2 students, covering lessons during teachers’ time out of the classroom and working with small group of children to deliver intervention programmes.
Our client school is an inclusive school, where both, the teaching and support staff work to effectively cater for the range in abilities and needs of all students.
Our client school is looking for the right person to start ASAP, working Monday to Friday, on a rolling contract.
The Role:
- The role involves planning, delivering lessons and assessing learning.
- Ability to confidently cover lessons to KS1 & KS2 Students.
- Be a part of the whole school community and vision.
Requirements:
- Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Qualified.
- HLTA experience or equivalent within the UK.
- The ability to build a strong and professional rapport with the children and staff.
- Excellent classroom management.
- Full understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection methods and responsibilities.
