Behaviour Management in Schools
This course is based on the guidelines Behaviour Management in Schools - Advice for headteachers and school staff set out by the Department of Education and looks at how they can be applied by teachers and school staff, with specific information relevant to supply staff. The guidance sets out the standards expected and legal duties of school staff to support pupils to behave well and the powers staff have to respond to misbehaviour.
This course should take approximately 40 minutes to complete and includes questions to consolidate learning.
Alcohol Awareness Training for Teachers & Staff
To support schools in their understanding of policies and procedures around alcohol and the dangers of excessive drinking.
The course provides you with information regarding good practice on how schools should address the issues of alcohol education and alcohol-related incidents with students. The course should take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.
Child Sexual Exploitation - Awareness Training for Teachers and Staff 2023/24
Child sexual Exploitation awareness is an important aspect of keeping children safe and, as part of your safeguarding duties, it is essential that you know the signs that a child or young person is being sexually exploited. This course will help you understand the issues surrounding CSE and learn about how to spot the signs.
E-safety - Annual Training for Teachers & Staff 2023/24
This training covers key aspects of online safety for those working in schools and colleges.
It does contain content which some users may find upsetting, and it is important that you talk to your line manager if you have been affected in any way.
This course should take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete.
First Aid - Common Illnesses and Injuries in Schools - 2023/24
The aim of this training is to provide you with an understanding of common illnesses and injuries, so you feel confident in dealing with a medical situation in your school working environment.
Health & Safety - School Hazards Awareness 2023/24
The aim of this training is to provide you with the essential knowledge to recognise the significant health and safety hazards in your workplace in order to keep you, your colleagues and students safe. Remember, a hazard is simply something that may cause harm.
Safeguarding - An Introduction for Teachers and Staff 2023/24
The aim of this course is to give an introduction to safeguarding in an educational setting. It provides information on the terminology used and explains the key roles of individuals.
Student Mental Well-being - Training for Teachers & Staff 2023/24
The aim of this course is to support schools in their understanding of policies and procedures around the mental well-being of children and young people.
The course provides you with information regarding good practice on how schools should address the situation of pupils with mental health issues. The course should take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.
Cover Supervisor for Schools
This course is aimed at anyone who is looking to take on the role of Cover Supervisor in schools and aims to provide an introduction to cover supervision, outline what the role involves, and provide a summary of what is expected of a Cover Supervisor.
This course is built in alignment with advice and guidelines provided by the National Education Union and Unison. More information and links are provided at the end of the course.

Anti-radicalisation & 'Prevent' - Awareness Training for Schools
Teachers have a duty under the government’s Prevent strategy to identify concerns about any young person who might be in danger of being radicalised.
This course will help you understand what radicalisation and extremism are and how you might identify whether a child is at risk. There is information on the Prevent strategy and what to do if you have concerns.
The course should take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
Drugs Awareness and County Lines for School Staff 2023/24
The aim of this module is to support schools in their understanding of policies and procedures around drugs and substance misuse.
This course now also includes information on County Lines.
The training provides you with information regarding good practice on how schools should address the issues of drug education and drugs-related incidents with students. The course should take approximately 20-25 minutes to complete.
FGM Awareness Training 2023/24
This course aims to inform school staff about the practice of FGM so that they will be more confident about what to look out for, who might be at risk and what to do if they suspect a case in their class or school.
This course has been developed by Vicki Dan, a teacher with over 15 years' teaching experience in different capacities, who now also delivers workshops on contraception and sex and relationship education to local secondary schools.
Food Hygiene Training for Teachers & Staff 2023/24
This course is designed for anyone new to food safety and is ideal for use in schools. It is also designed for new employees working in low-risk environments or anyone with an interest in safe food preparation at home.
The course introduces the concept of safe food, improves your food preparation and handling knowledge and is a starting point for further study as a food handler.
Introduction to Abuse for Teachers and Staff 2023/24
This training course provides you with an introduction to, and understanding of, abuse relating to children in the context of educational settings. It explains the terminology and the key roles of school and college staff in identifying, and acting on, signs of abuse. The course includes multiple-choice questions to consolidate learning.
Sexting - An Introduction for Teachers and Staff 2023/24
The aim of this training course is to support schools in their understanding of policies and procedures around young people sharing indecent and/or inappropriate images - sexting.
The course provides you with information regarding good practice on how schools should address the issues of pupils sharing indecent images and how to deal with any sexting (YPSI) incident.
The training should take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.
UK GDPR & Data Protection - Training for Schools 2023/24
GDPR & Data Protection training to raise awareness of the new data protection laws within the context of an educational setting.
Exam Invigilation Training
This course is aimed at anyone who is going to be invigilating exams in schools. It covers the role itself, the preparations and arrangements, instructions for conducting exams and a checklist of the most essential actions.
This course is built in alignment with the latest Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) Instructions for Conducting Examinations (1 September 2023 to 31 August 2024) and we advise anyone who is going to be invigilating exams to familiarise themselves with the official guidelines. More information and links are provided at the end of the course.

Bullying Awareness Training for Teachers & Staff
This training is designed to support schools in their understanding of policies and procedures around the different ways in which children and young people can be bullied.
This assignment covers good practice on how schools should address the issues of bullying.
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion for Teachers
The aim of this course is to introduce Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in an educational setting.
The course will provide information on what we mean by EDI and its relevance to education.
It also covers relevant equality legislation, types of discrimination, and case studies. There are examples of inclusive practice and lesson ideas to inspire you to embed inclusion into your own learning environment.

Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023/24
The Department for Education (DfE) has issued statutory safeguarding guidance for schools and colleges since 2006.
On 1st September 2022 the new version of the Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) became statutory guidance for all providers of education for children and young people under 18.
As Part 1 and Annex A are required minimum reading for all staff, we’ve extracted what we believe to be the essential information from the guidance for you and present it in an on-line learning format enabling tracking of completion.
This new course for 2022-23 is based on the latest KCSIE document which now also includes the previous government guidance 'Sexual violence and sexual harassment between children in schools and colleges'
To help further we have included two extra assignments which can be used for distributing and evidencing the reading of the documents KCSiE Part 1 and KCSiE Annex A.
Part 1 MUST be read by all staff who work directly with children.
Annex A is a minimum required reading for all staff who do NOT directly work with children.

In addition, social media can be a powerful educational tool when used correctly and can provide a platform to promote the successes and achievements of a school.
This course will help you gain an understanding of social media and it's use but schools and staff and learn about safeguarding issues for children and young people involving social media.
