Maze Recruitment Group is seeking an EYFS Teacher to work with our client school in Leeds on a full time, fixed term contract, Monday to Friday, starting 17th November 2025 until Easter 2026. The role is suitable for Early Years ECT’s.

We are seeking a passionate, creative and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher to join our friendly and supportive client school in Leeds. The successful candidate will inspire and nurture our youngest learners, creating a stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

You will work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to deliver high-quality early years education that supports each child’s social, emotional, and academic development in line with the UK EYFS framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in accordance with the UK EYFS curriculum.
  • Foster a caring and safe classroom environment where children feel valued and confident.
  • Use formative assessment to track progress and tailor learning to meet individual needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events, trips, and enrichment activities.

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant EYFS experience.
  • A minimum or 6 months consistent experience working with the UK EYFS curriculum.
  • A deep understanding of child development and early years pedagogy.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A reflective practitioner committed to continuous professional development.
  • Enthusiastic, patient, and passionate about giving every child the best start in their education.
