Religious Education Teacher required, Leeds!

Maze Recruitment Group is recruiting an enthusiastic and committed Religious Education (RE) Teacher for one of our partner secondary schools in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled educator who can inspire students to think critically, explore different beliefs, and understand diverse worldviews.

The role will be based in Leeds teaching RE full time, Monday to Friday. Starting September 2026.

Role Responsibilities:

• Teach RE across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience welcomed)
• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons
• Encourage open-minded discussion and reflective thinking
• Assess, monitor, and support student progress
• Work collaboratively within a supportive Humanities team

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Strong subject knowledge in Religious Education
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Passionate about promoting respect, inclusivity, and understanding
• Reliable, motivated, and committed to the full duration of the role
• A minimum of 6 months experience teaching RE in UK schools
