Maths Teacher required, Wakefield!

About the role:

Maze Recruitment Group is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a supportive Wakefield secondary school working full time, Monday to Friday for a minimum of 1 term with the potential for it to be extended for the right candidate with the role starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated educator to make a real difference in students’ learning.

What you’ll be doing:

• Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is a bonus)
• Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons
• Supporting student progress and achievement
• Contributing to a collaborative and forward-thinking department

Who we’re looking for:

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Strong Maths subject knowledge
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Passionate about inspiring students and fostering a positive learning environment
• Committed to a long-term teaching role
• A minimum of 12 months experience teaching Maths in UK schools
