KS1 Teacher – Wakefield

Maze Recruitment Group is seeking a KS1 Teacher in Wakefield for a vibrant and inclusive Wakefield primary school where every child is encouraged to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Our client is committed to providing a nurturing environment and a high-quality education for all pupils and is seeking a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join them on a long-term basis starting February half term, duration is an estimated 12 month contract.

The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join our friendly and supportive Primary School in Wakefield. The successful candidate will be a qualified Key Stage 1 Teacher and will play a pivotal role in shaping young minds at this crucial stage of their education. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative lessons to KS1 students in line with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, providing tailored support where needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for all children.
  • Participate in school events, professional development, and other activities as required.

  • A qualified teacher (QTS required) with experience or interest in teaching KS1.
  • ECT are welcome to apply.
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum for Key Stage 1.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
